Racing. Inspiring. Leading by example.

The Philosophy
Whether on the start line of an Ironman or leading a QA transformation in a legacy team — the approach is the same. Show up prepared. Do the work. Be the example others can follow. Not just for results, but because my kids are watching. And so are my colleagues. Results are the natural outcome of consistent effort and preparation.

Training Philosophy
About four years ago I returned to competitive amateur sport. The goal was a healthy lifestyle, and the result is competing at the highest amateur level. Balancing a full-time career as a QA Lead, family life, and 15+ hours of training per week forces extreme prioritisation. Every session has a purpose and should be as efficient as possible to make the most of limited time. Every race is measured against a plan. The journey from returning athlete to national champion and Ironman podium finisher taught me more about execution under pressure than any management course.
For My Kids
Sport is healthy, fun, and something we share as a family. My children see their dad setting goals and chasing them — not always perfectly, but consistently. Leading by example at home and at work is the same instinct.
