Chapter 1

The Beginning

Sport has been part of my life since childhood. Before QA, before Ironman, before the career — there was a kid whose dad instilled a love of sport by signing him up for races. Too young to even belong to a club, he started in kids' runs, triathlons, and duathlons, often as the youngest participant. Those early experiences shaped the approach to sport — not just as competition but as a way of life that connects family and brings joy from achieving goals.

Chapter 2

The Return

After years focused on building a career and a family, the competitive fire was still there. About four years ago, I came back — I wanted to be fit, but the competitive drive is in my blood, and that element motivates me to work systematically, which is a goal in itself.

Starting almost from zero as an adult amateur, the progression has been the point. National titles, Ironman podium finishes, and personal bests at every distance are the results, where the goal is continuous improvement. The beginning shaped the return.
